STORY

Kenya has 42 tribes that create a source of pride and identity for its people. Each has distinctive traditions and characteristics. They even have identifiable fabrics. The Maasai red plaid is one of the most common but many other designs represent other tribes. Grace Mwangi, who designed these handbags, is from the Kikuyu tribe whose fabric is identified as Kitenge. She celebrates her own, but also honors the milieu of tradition in many other tribes. Proudly celebrate diversity as you carry Grace's designs.
